It Was A Dark And Stormy Night...

It was a dark and stormy night...sorry, i cant continue anymore. Ms. I said I shouldnt do stories that start with this.

"Who's there?"
*floor creeks*
"Hello?"
*footsteps*
"Dad? Mom? Nikki?"
*door creeks*
"Seriously, that's not funny guys."
Door from behind opens.
"Nikko what are you doing?"
"WHAT THE! oh. Dad, you scared me."
"What are you doing up at 2 in the morning?"
"I dunno, i thought i heard someone scream. I checked Nikki's room, but she's sleeping. I was about to go to your room but then I heard footsteps. And then a door creek."
"From where?"
"Downstairs."
"I'll go check."
"Is mom still sleeping?"
"Yeah, she's the one who woke me up to see what was going on."
"Oh"

"No one's there. Everthing seems to be in place."
"Maybe I was just dreaming then."
"Maybe, now go to sleep. You have school tomorrow."
"Yeah, goodnight."
"Goodnight."
