Just so you know
This feelings taking control of me
And I can't help it
Haha, Jesse Mcartney song. Let's write a poem shall we.
Just so you know,
There's more to me than just my looks,
Something deeper in the inside than what you see.
Just so you know,
I'm not like all the guys out there,
I'm not here to just see you bare.
Just so you know,
What I say is true and it all comes from the heart,
What I say is real, nothing to tear us apart.
Just so you know,
I'm giving you all that I can,
And all of my will.
Just so you know,
You're the only one that I think about,
Knowing that I have no doubt.
So is none of this hits you,
and you still dont want me to be with you,
so that we can have something that's true,
then well, I truly am a fool.
So just so you know,
If my love for you is not enough,
I'm still going to be tough,
and find a new pound of rough.

Poetry Reflection
POEM EDIT
I thought that taking out words out of my poem was easy. It wasn't that hard to make the changes in my poem to make it fit. Having said that, I think that my poems could be better. There's definitely room for improvement. I know I can write better poetry. But for the poem itself, it changed the way it impacts. I think the poem hits harder than my first poem. I definitly see the difference words can make in a poem.
GROUP WORK
When I got into a group with Chris and Danica, our poems were coincidentally identical. It wasn't that hard to put it together. The hardest part was probably figuring out how to use the all of our poems together. The good thing, we didn't have to really change our sentences. It was more of changing the words to fit into a guys character. It turned out to be a really good poem. All 3 of ours was equally in it.

Somewhere, Someone is Writing a Poem
Somewhere, someone is writing a poem
There, here,
House, dear.
Cars, toys, planes,
Boy, girl, maines.
They feel, they write,
Word, sound, no fright.
Man, dream,
Woman, no theme.
Streets of Jersey,
Suburbs of my city.
All I know, somewhere,
Someone is writing a poem,
Because of that, I'll go show 'em

Things that rhyme with Orange
Apparently there's nothing that ryhmes with orange. Door hinge doesn't work, pourage doesnt either. Oh yeah, and there's nothing that ryhmes with silver. River, liver, quiver, deliver, beaver. I don't know. How does that not rhyme? Is it because of the l before the ver. Probably is.
So Ryhmes,
let me drop some dimes.
Everyday I wonder,
could you be my lover.
When I see you around,
my heart goes round.
Should I keep on going,
or should I stop the love flowing.
If not, I hope our friendship will continue growing.

Man Up!
Man Up!
Don't let your brothers die,
Bring 'em to their feet, raise them from the ground.
Wipe the dust that cover your face,
wipe those tears that drown your eyes,
Get your mind together.
Man Up!
Be brave, be strong, Stay strong.
Listen to the cries, the scream.
Feel the pain, the scars.
See the damage, the horrow.
Now forget it.
Man up!
There's to be done, it's not over.
It's far from over.
Stand til the end, don't give up.
Never give up.
Think of the others, your brothers, your family,
Your love.
Man up...
Don't let your brothers die,
Bring 'em to their feet, raise them from the ground.
Wipe the dust that cover your face,
wipe those tears that drown your eyes,
Get your mind together.
Man Up!
Be brave, be strong, Stay strong.

Lonely Tear Drops
If one falls, another follows.
They come as wholes, none with hollows.
Every one shed,
Slowly trickling on the bed.
Just let them be,
We don't always shout with glee.
I don't like this title. So gloomy. That's why I don't know what else to write.
They come as wholes, none with hollows.
Every one shed,
Slowly trickling on the bed.
Just let them be,
We don't always shout with glee.
I don't like this title. So gloomy. That's why I don't know what else to write.

You Inspire me to be better
Cater 2 U - Passion Cover
You inspire me to be better.
I used to be a regular guy,
and just let life by.
The most important things to me were games,
and making up character names.
If I had it my way,
only having a computer would be okay.
But not anymore.
You inspire me to be better.
It took a while to get to know you,
But I had a feeling this love is true.
My life is now changed,
it doesn't seem so deranged.
You've brought me down to earth,
something I left after birth.
You make me want live,
everything I have to give.
My life is now true,
and it's all because of you.
You inspire me to be better.

In winter...
There's no more leaves, no more green.
The snow is heavy as the branches lean.
People fall on their face,
while they walk in a fast pace.
Don't they know there's ice?
They should go eat some rice.
The birds go opposite of North,
to live and give birth.
If my calculations are right,
they'll go in a V shaped flight.
The kids are stuck at home,
and with nothing to do, in the living room they roam.
Maybe they should get some excersise by going out,
Unless they have snow storm doubts.
But that rarely happens here in Vancouver,
So let's just head out, even if it's December.
In winter, the snow falls,
Why not just have a ball?

East Wing
Satltiness of young adolescence.
Bitterness of the gym gear filled lockers.
Sourness of non-uniform shoes.
My mouth is taking a beating.
The scents travel up my nose,
Taking over my taste buds.
But wait, there’s hope.
The sweetness of the air.
Bitterness of the gym gear filled lockers.
Sourness of non-uniform shoes.
My mouth is taking a beating.
The scents travel up my nose,
Taking over my taste buds.
But wait, there’s hope.
The sweetness of the air.

Man Up!
Hey, a G.I. Joe reference. That's new. You know, I always thought it'd be cool to be in the army. Kind of like, save the world thing. I think that's one of the many fantasies that guys have. For some, it's actually closer than they think. Only problem is, we'd have to leave everything else behind. Families, friends, and everything else. See, that's the only problem about the army, other than dying, you have to leave everything.
